When I got my sneak peak back I posted it… after saying I would not share any photos! I found Ashleigh when I was healing and learning to love myself. She was amazing to work with and I am definitely going to do a second shoot!

I looked over all the amazing photos Ashleigh took of me and had a tough time picking one to share. Not just because they are all amazing, because they really are, but because they bring me back to a point in my life where I was with someone who made me feel wonderful in my skin. That’s partially what gave me the courage to get these pictures done.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, when I really think about it), I’m no longer with that person. But I have these incredible photos to remind me that I’m beautiful, and I don’t need a man to make me feel that way. I make myself feel that way.
Get the photos. Not for him, but for you. Trust me. Now I know why Ashleigh says that all the time.
I’ve struggled with loving my body ever since I was in elementary school. My weight has fluctuated over the years and I’ve never truly been 100% happy with the way I’ve looked. I have heard from others that have done a boudoir shoot that they felt a boost in their confidence and feeling good about themselves after they left. I decided to pull the trigger and make my own appointment.
The entire time I was in the studio, Ashleigh made me feel beautiful, and hyped me up. I figured that with her talented editing skills, my pictures would be what I wanted. But when she showed me the back of the camera of an UNEDITED picture, and I actually LIKED it, I was like hot damn! THAT was the biggest boost of self confidence, her showing me throughout the shoot the unedited pictures and how there are things to love about my body that I don’t see for myself when looking in a mirror. I’m grateful for the experience and happy I took the chance and did it, even when I didn’t feel confident prior to going.
