What made you choose Ashleigh Amber Photography?

I met Ashleigh at a bridal show back in January 2020 and she was so friendly. I wanted to do a shoot before my wedding but Covid happened and we postponed and I totally forgot. Fast forward to 2021, a girl I went to high school with posted her photos from a shoot with Ashleigh. I started following Ashleigh on Instagram and I loved that there were so many woman of all different sizes featured. It made me feel comfortable shooting with her because i knew she would make me look and feel beautiful.

What made you decided to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?

I’ve gained some weight over the last couple years and have started to struggle with my body image. I’ve always been curvy and it’s never bothered me before so i wanted to do something to keep my self image up before it spiraled like it can so easily do.

Was the session different from what you expected it to be?

I know a couple people who have done shoots with Ashleigh so i kind of had like an inside scoop of what the session would be like. I was surprised by how comfortable I felt right away. A big take away from this session is being able to look at my photos and be like omg that’s me and just remembering that I’m that same person on day’s that I’m feeling down on myself.

Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Ashleigh Amber Photography?

Ashleigh is amazing and you really do leave there feeling like you are old friends. She’s so talented and has a great team of women around her as well. Heather (makeup artist) is unbelievably talented and i wish i could have her with me everyday to do my hair and makeup.
